UK firm Hudson Sandler picks Kenyan to head East African unit – Business Daily
Hudson Sandler LLP, a London-based company has appointed a Kenyan as it seeks growth in the East African market.
Michelle Anekeya has been appointed as Partner, Head of East Africa.
“With over 16 years’ experience in strategic communications, Michelle brings a wealth of experience in corporate communications and advocacy. Her strong leadership and business development skills will be instrumental in our further expansion as we continue to grow across the continent,” the organisation said.
Ms Anekeya previously worked at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, a public relations company.
Kenya is increasingly attracting new companies as they seek as share of the African market. Hudson Sandler LLP says Africa is a key strategic market and it is looking to work with leading businesses, foundations and NGOs in the region.
Ms Anekeya holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi, and a degree in Information Sciences from Moi University.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to lead and grow the East Africa business into the next era,” said the 39-year-old.
